Some new additions...

So remember that plastic temporary kitchen table we used to have just about a week or so ago? It's GONE! Woo-hoo! Jeff and I found a steal of a deal on ksl for this cute little kitchen table. We love it! And the best part is it was super cheap.

Ksl is the best. We also found this awesome t.v. stand for way cheap. Don't ya love it when people are moving and they need to get rid of their stuff fast?! We haven't assembled the glass shelf yet, but I'm sure it will look even better when it is all put together!

Our new little home is (still) slowly coming together, and we are accumulating things as we go it seems like. But all we have to say about that is...we love ksl!

FHE at Stewart Falls!

Last night for FHE, Jeff and I decided to head up Provo Canyon and go on a hike up to Stewart Falls near Aspen Grove. I hadn't been there in a few years and Jeff had never even been there, so we decided it would be a fun little family outing. The hike was really easy, just a couple of miles, but it was even more beautiful because the sun was about to go down. Here are a few pictures from the hike.

Us in front of Stewart Falls.

Jeff was a bit cold. I had to try and keep him warm.

Finally got a pretty decent jumping picture! This totally took me back to my days in Jerusalem when we took jumping pictures at pretty much every site we visited. It was tradition!

Love this guy.

He got another good jumping picture. Tradition lives ON!

Jeffrey pondering the falls.

So, Jeff just scurried out into the water and told me to take a picture of him. He then proceeded to do a sort of hoe-down dance. I wasn't really sure what was going on or what kind of picture he was going for, but I think he was just trying to make things interesting. So I did what he said. What a great picture.

This is actually pretty random, but this is the delicious taco salad we made together that night. We were pretty proud because it looked so great...at least to us haha.

Bridal Veil Falls Adventure

So, a few days ago Jeff and I went and picked up my dear old friend Stephenie Frye and we all drove out to Bridal Veil Falls in the canyon. Since Steph is leaving on her mission to the Dominican Republic very soon, we thought it would be fun to hang out with her for a bit. We then had a picnic near the waterfall and then made our way up. I was a bit scared at times, but they both convinced me to keep going up. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from our day.

On our way up the waterfall!

Steph and me exploring.

Steph was brave enough to sit down in the water. The water was freezing! It was fun though. And a great picnic.

UVU vs. BYU baseball game

Yesterday, Jeff and I went to the UVU vs. BYU baseball game together, compliments of the 'pass of all passes.' It was a little confusing because I go to UVU and he goes to BYU, but neither of us were super passionate towards one or the other. (Okay, maybe he was a bit more passionate towards BYU since he likes watching sports a bit more haha). It was an interesting game... We left before it ended so we didn't get to see the final score though. Maybe it was better that way?

Jeff and me, sportin our shades.

UVU vs. BYU game in Orem. I guess we got pretty good seats for being about ten minutes late.

Jeff showing off his sunglasses.

Watching the game.

We even got to see a bunch of little kids wrestle for a foul ball! We were pretty close to getting a picture of them in action, but we just barely missed it. It was pretty funny though. I think the kid in the black/grey shirt prevailed.

It was a fun little outing for the little Olson family! Thank goodness for the pass of all passes.

Our new little home.

So since we moved into our first little apartment about four months ago, I thought it would be a good time to include some pictures of the new place...

So here's our little garden out front...

Just kidding... I wish! This is actually a picture Jeff took of the gardens in front of the Draper Temple. Fooled ya!

Here are some REAL pictures of our new little apartment:

Our first few months of marriage...

So, Jeff and I usually do laundry at my sister Kelsi's house since they have a washer and dryer, and we do have one, but they are definitely not in working order. We were folding the laundry together one day and we found our nephew's sock. Haha Jeff was confused and thought his sock had shrunk!

Jeff and I made this beyond delicious bbq chopped chicken salad. YUM.

Jeff and I also decided to make pizza one night with our pizza pans that we had gotten as a wedding gift. It actually turned out really great!

This one needs some explaining. Jeff and I went to the Salt Lake temple to our friends' Trevor and Leah's wedding. In between the sealing and all the pictures, Jeff ran back to the car in the conference center parking lot. Soon enough, I got a call from Jeff. He said he had been on his way up through the elevator in the conference center and he got STUCK. I hurried and ran back so as to try and not miss Trevor and Leah's triumphant exit from the temple, but I soon learned that this adventure was going to take an hour and a half. While I waited (and talked with Jeff through the slit in the elevator), the security guard and I made small talk. It was quite an adventure, indeed.

After Trevor and Leah's wedding, Jeff and I (and a few others from the gang) took a little trip to the brand new City Creek Center mall. It was amazing! We also took a gander inside the DISNEY STORE!!

This is Jeff aka Spiderman. Yep, I am married to this guy.

Jeff was absolutely appalled that I would leave such little milk in the milk container and then put it in the fridge. What can I say, I am a HOARDER and I really hate to waste things. Especially milk. I love milk haha. Please forgive me Jeffrey.

This was at Jeff's cousin's wedding yesterday at the Draper Temple. His cousin Nathan Romney married Mindy (Noftle). It was a beautiful wedding, and we are so glad we could share it with them.

Jeff and me in front of the Draper Temple. What a beautiful day!

Jeff's parents were in town the whole week before the wedding. We got to spend a lot of time with them. It was wonderful.

Nate and Mindy and some of the gang. Cute couple.

So, Jeff and I went on a date to the batting cages a couple of nights ago, and the pitching machine was completely out of control. It was pitching balls ALL over the place. I was literally scared for my life. Next thing I knew, I got pelted in the knee (fast pitch) and what do you know?! There was a fatty bruise in that same place the next day. Perhaps I will put up another picture of what the actual bruise looks like...

I then had a hard time with Jeff when he was constantly trying to cuddle with me or be close to me when he would touch or knock my bruised knee somehow. It got to the point where I had to tell him over and over again NOT to touch my bruised knee! So eventually he decided to go and attach this little sign to my leg so he could be automatically reminded when he thought to touch my knee somehow.
